SAXON MORTGAGE COMPANY UNFORTUNATELY BOUGHT OUR LOAN FROM NOVASTAR MORTGAGE IN NOVEMBER 2007. WE HAVE MADE PAYMENTS TO THEM, ON TIME, SINCE THEN AND THEY HAVEN'T POSTED OUR PAYMENTS. THANKS TO THE RESPA ACT WE WERE COVERED FOR DECEMBER BUT OUR ACCOUNT STATES THAT ITS OVER 100 DAYS PAST DUE. WE HAVE ALL THE PROOF TO VERIFY WE HAVE MADE OUR PAYMENTS. SAXON AT FIRST ACCUSSED US OF NOT MAKING OUR PAYMENTS. WE RECEIVED PHONE CALL AFTER PHONE CALL SAYING THEY NEEDED PAYMENT UNTIL THEY FINALLY UNDERSTOOD THAT WE HAVE BEEN MAKING PAYMENTS. THEY THEN SAID THEY HAVENT BEEN POSTING THEM TO OUR ACCOUNT UNTIL THEY REANALYZE IT BECAUSE ITS A 3 OPTION ARM LOAN. THEY TOLD ME IT COULD TAKE 30 DAYS TO REANALYZE IT,.....IT HAS BEEN OVER 100 AND IT STILL SHOWS PAST DUE. I HAVE SEEN SO MANY COMPLAINTS ONLINE THAT I THINK I AM JUST GOING TO HAVE TO GET A LAWYER AND SUE THEM. WE CALLED THEM SO MANY TIMES AND GOT THE RUN AROUND AND SO MANY PROMISES TO FIX THE ISSUE BY A CERTAIN DEADLINE. NONE OF THOSE DEADLINES HAVE BEEN MET. I NEED A GOOD LAWER.

I too have been told about the "work orders" that have supposedly been ordered for our account. Saxon hasn't posted our payments for the last 4 months. Our account says we're 110 days past due yet they cashed all 4 checks and have the money in a suspense account. Our problems with them started when we requested relief under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act when my husband was activated by his National Guard unit. We're still working on getting everything straightened out, but I have written to the AG's in both our home state and also in Texas where Saxon is located, the FTC, Fort Worth BBB (although Saxon ignored them) as well as our senators and congressman. Write to anyone who will listen!

I am in the same situation! My account is currently at 39 days past due. I have not been late at all with my payments. Saxon reps make a lot of promises... and submit a lot of "work orders"... but nothing ever gets resolved. I am starting my search for an attorney today! I will not let this company ruin my credit. Thank you for the info on the state A.G.'s office. I will try contacting them as well.

I live in Missouri and spoke with the Attorney Generals office about the problems we're having with them. They told me they have had numerous complaints like this and to file a complaint with the state AG's Office of Finance. You may check with your state about this as well. Our loan was also sold from NovaStar although neither company thought to let us know. We got a letter in december saying that we didn't have a payment due until January which they claim they never sent and we're still fighting that.
